Maldives在印度语中是花环的意思，也有很多人把马尔代夫比喻成散落在印度洋中的碎玉。而当你一旦进入这碧海连天中的岛国时，你会不由自主地感叹这里是情侣的天堂。碧海、蓝天、洁白的沙滩，一切都是为浪漫而准备。小船在碧波中荡漾，海风轻抚海面，赤着脚的印度裔水手面带微笑目视前方，海水的颜色时而比率，时而湛蓝，时而纯白。

经过长达半年时间的准备，看了很多图片、游记、介绍，了解语言、货币、时差、饮食、宗教、气候等诸多信息（现在互联网时代真是方便，以前要查找这些资料一定要在图书馆里泡上几个星期的时间才行），准备了洗漱用品、防晒用品、护肤用品、棉球、棉签、常备药品、一箱饮用水、胶鞋、拖鞋、手套、泳装、遮阳帽、墨镜、相关证件、照相机、水下照相机……
通过携程旅行网下定单，目前携程只有从北京、上海、广州三地出发的线路。马尔代夫尚未与中国建交，在国内没有大使馆、领事馆之类的机构，实行落地签证，只要有当地酒店的定单就可以签证了。
2007年2月3日凌晨从厦门出发，长时间飞行经广州——新加坡——抵达马尔代夫机场Male' international airport。机场到达厅就有货币更换点、马尔代夫银行和各酒店接待站、在5号接待站找到Laguna island接待员，把我们一家三口送上了渡船，抵达Laguna island时已经是当地时间晚上11点半，相当于北京时间凌晨2点半。

酒店大堂离码头不远，服务生首先为每人递上一条冰镇的毛巾（当地气温约30℃），然后请大家在大堂就坐，递给每人一杯冰镇的水果饮料，要求填写旅客资料，之后我们拿到一份夹有一束三角梅的美丽房卡，我们的房号是幸运数字168号。

服务生领着我们徒步经过一条美丽的小路到达我们的房间——一座小别墅，沿途不断地用英文介绍岛上的基本情况、和所能提供的一切服务、就餐时间、地点、IDD、免费项目、自费项目等等，进了房间不久，行李员也将行李送到。

酒店房间设备齐全，令我们惊讶的是，淋浴的地方果然如游记中所说的：在保证私密的情况下，采用半露天的方式，真是太美了。想象着抬头仰望蓝天的同时沐浴，多么遐意！

每个房间门口都有一个盛满清水的水缸和一个带有长柄的瓢，这是专门用来洗脚的。当你赤裸着双脚在沙滩上漫步回来，为防止把沙子带进房间，都要洗洗脚上的沙子，看来酒店在这方面考虑得非常细致。

马尔代夫是个适合休假的地方，更是情侣的天堂，碧海蓝天，还有洁白的沙滩，一切都是为浪漫而准备。岛上绝大多数是一对对情侣或是带孩子的家庭，环岛走一圈，随处可见穿着比基尼的每人躺着晒太阳，而身边往往有一着泳裤的猛男在看书。

马尔代夫最常见的海上交通工具是一种称为多尼斯(Dhoanis)的当地制造船只。一次行程的收费大约是在MRF50至MRF100之间，这需视个别的船主而定。

http://www.xmswim.com/bbs/attachment/87_153_8ad2305e176824b.jpg 为旅游开发的岛屿一共87个，离马累比较远的岛屿需要乘坐水上飞机往返，比较近的岛屿则是成渡船或游艇往返。所以中国人去的比较多的岛屿是卡尼岛，天堂岛，满月岛，库鲁巴岛、拉古娜岛等等，因此这几个岛屿的游记也非常多，作为旅行的参考，各大旅游公司也力推这些岛屿的酒店。在这些岛上经常会碰到中国人。
在库鲁巴曾经有一个健身房的服务生问我：are you japanese?我义正严词地回答：No!I am chinese!
本人通过携程旅行网预定机票和酒店，目前携程旅行网只有从北京、上海、广州出发的线路，我们一家三口选择从广州出发，经新加坡到马尔代夫的马累机场，预定LUGUNA岛酒店住宿两天，然后转KULUMBA岛酒店3天住宿，含早餐及马累到LAGUNA——LAGUNA到马累——马累岛KULUMBA——KULUMBA到机场的全程快艇接送，费用约3.8万元人民币（11月至4月当属旺季，这些费用交给携程）。
所有行程必须通过马累机场中转，离机场较近的岛屿（快艇行程1小时以内的）用快艇接送，由于费用较低，有些是由酒店支付，所以中国人较多选择这些岛屿。有些岛屿离机场较远，需要乘坐水上飞机往返，这些岛屿多是欧美人去度假。
马尔代夫是伊斯兰教国家，但是受欧洲的影响，做事比较严禁，想潜水必须拿到国际认可的潜水执照，才能潜水。
这里所说的潜水是DIVE，与浮潜SNORKELING是两个概念，浮潜是带着面罩，一根气管通到水面上，在海水表面浮游，随便买一套浮潜设备自己就可以进行（也可以租用，一日5美元）。而潜水是穿着全套潜水服、脚蹼、头盔，背着氧气筒潜到10米深一下的珊瑚礁去看珊瑚，热带鱼，沉船。。。。。。
各旅游岛都有潜水学校，入学需要考试，如果会自由泳20米以上，，就可以进行5-6天的短期培训（包括各种设备的使用、水下交流的手势、自救等），获得国际认可的潜水执照，才可以乘船去深海下潜。如果不会游泳，一半要经过10天以上的培训。
由于培训时间较长，而中国人印子有限，度假时间不长，所以不建议到马尔代夫在进行培训，可以考虑在国内培训后（一定要取得国际认可的潜水执照），带着执照再去潜水。
单次潜水费用一半在25美元左右，培训费用各岛不同，一半在300美元——350美元之间。

PADI（Professional Associational Diving Instructors，专业潜水教练协会）马尔代夫多数酒店的潜水中心都可以提供PADI执照的培训和考试，教练几乎都是从德国与瑞士来的DIVEMASTER。一般来讲，通过3天的课程培训就可以考取PADI的潜水执照(这种执照只允许18米之内的深度，如多加2天的培训便可以取得30米深的潜水执照)。上飞机前24小时是不能潜水的。
推荐：黄昏海钓、海豚之旅、kuda bandos浮潜，环岛游
服装和装备
每天活动出发前穿好泳衣，外面最好穿长衫长裤， 也可以套一件短袖T恤衫，否则会被晒得厉害。因海中遍布珊瑚，游泳时最好戴上劳工手套、穿上白布鞋，以免划伤手脚。迪卡侬有专用手套、软底水上运动鞋售，用下来感觉很好。（鞋60元/双，手套28元/付，大概的价格）
游泳衣当然是必不可少，但禁止穿泳装在餐厅用餐。宽松的浅色或艳色纯棉休闲装、宽阔边沿的大草帽、墨镜及高标号的防晒霜（在屈臣士有卖防晒指数130的，新碧，防晒霜加防晒护唇膏共46大洋）是必备之物。鲜艳的衣服和泳衣。你要把你所有艳丽的衣服都带去。
对了，怕晒的晒不起的最好准备好水上运动服，那种游泳衣面料的，非常管用，迪卡农有的卖，100多大洋一件，男女款式都有，我老公水上运动服没有遮到的地方就是又红又疼，正在蜕皮中，遮到的地方，还是白花花的，强烈推荐一下
值得一说的是，我们去之前特地去了一次迪卡侬，它里面的水上运动装备很齐全，我们按照其他网友的指点，买了149元一套的面罩+呼吸管套装，以及299元一套的面罩+呼吸管+脚蹼套装，不知道是质量问题还是我们使用不当，在岛上浮潜不多久后，两根呼吸管都出现不同程度的漏水，原来我们以为是个别现象，后来在那里碰到一个上海男生，他说他也是迪卡侬买的呼吸管，也有问题。所以从不浪费钱的角度出发，大家购置装备单买个面罩就可以了，50多块大洋吧。我们后来外岛浮潜，就去单借的呼吸管，water sport center出租的呼吸管可一点都不漏水哦
浮潜设备的租金我也报一下吧，凭记忆：
一天（24小时）：面罩3刀，呼吸管3刀，脚蹼4.5刀
一个上午（0900-1330，指参加外岛浮潜的租借）：面罩2刀，呼吸管2刀，脚蹼2.5刀

马尔代夫的最佳游览季节为12月至5月。5月初据说最多魔鬼鱼前来，是潜水发烧人士的最佳季节。搭乘酒店的游艇，我来到了深海处，跳进全球三大潜水胜地之一的海里，和小鲨鱼、魔鬼鱼或海龟一起遨游。观赏热带鱼有两种办法：浮潜和深潜。深潜需要专业的培训外加复杂的装备，对于我这种没有任何基础的人来说，只有选择浮潜了。套上一个大大的潜水镜，嘴里含着水下呼吸器，把空气导管伸出水面，穿上脚蹼，就可以入水了，欣赏晶蓝透彻的海水醉人的风光，不由得兴奋异常，得意忘形。 水培训学校

http://www.xmswim.com/bbs/attachment/87_153_5962c4fc413147b.jpg 在距离岸边大约几十米远的地方，有一道用珊瑚石堆砌起来的护岛堤，一来防止浪头直接打到岛上，二来也防止人工的海滩被浸没，三来也可以防鲨鱼入侵。我们试过走到这道护岛堤边了也只不过是及胸深的水，看见这道堤外面，不到3米的位置，水的颜色都已经骤然变深，好象深不可测的样子，游到深海处，回头看岸边，满是珊瑚礁，原来KURUMBA这个岛就是由珊瑚礁组成的，而岸边的沙子都是从其他地方运来的。海水浅蓝色的地方自然是浅谈，而深色的地方就是深海，。潜入水中观察才觉得，深海浅海交界的地方好像高山上的悬崖峭壁，骤然间海水变得无比深，想象中自己好像到了悬崖峭壁之外悬空站立一般，而水流也较急，直把人向外推，如果游泳速度不够快，还很难游回来呢。
